The information below on costume description & sizing describes how our concern for comfort, wearability and quality craftsmanship combine to provide our customers quality, long-lasting costumes.
Marylen Costumes are handcrafted from only the finest fabrics. Our suits are fully lined and padded, where needed, to give a sculpted effect.
The DD characters that appear to be dressed are made in two pieces to give a full appearance without the extra bulk. All suits are comfortable to wear and easy to maintain. The hands have a set-in thumb for greater usability. The parade feet have soles and can be worn over your own shoes. Cool vests designed to be worn under suits are available.
Importantly, Marylen costumes are designed with your safety in mind. All suits are made with Velcro closures for quick removal. Battery operated fans are available for increased comfort in hot weather.
The heads are made of natural non-toxic materials and easy to take off. The head of each character is handmade by our patented process and are individually painted by Marylen’s team of expert artists. Lightweight but sturdy, the heads are fur covered or painted and have adjustable headgear with a chinstrap. The vision is through the screened eyes and mouths.
Most costumes are available in three sizes:
Small Fits to 5 ft. 6 in. Chest 38 inches
Medium Fits to 5 ft. 11 in. Chest 48 inches
Large Fits to 6 ft. 4 in. Chest 56 inches

Foam costumes are made in a one size fits all. These include: PP- Potpourri , MC- Madcap Menagerie, and FC- Foam Costumes.
